Good question. I explained the "why" in my Substack article The Clean Sport Myth (https://tinyurl.com/TheCleanSportMyth). In short, I am dyslexic, and AI is helpful in catching grammar mistakes and as a general editor. I also use AI as a 'sparring partner.' I will prepare drafts, and the AI agent will poke holes in my argument, double-check that I am not misquoting or misrepresenting sources, and suggest ways to tighten the prose. It also helps me remain consistent - it does a solid job of identifying instances in which I appear to be contradicting myself when comparing my writing to previous articles. The writing is mine. The arguments and the judgment decisions are mine, and so is anything I get wrong. The footprint's real, which is why I named it in the piece instead of pretending it wasn't there.
Thanks, Zach. I am sure you have some interesting and unique perspectives, given that you are both a business owner and a well-accomplished ultra-runner. What parts are you grappling with?
I know you wrote something else on it, but I'm curious as to why you used AI for this and in what areas you used it for?

Some hard truths in here that I've been grappling with as a participant and business owner in the space. Thanks for writing.
